Unspooling between 27 June-5 July, Germany’s 32nd Filmfest Munich will screen two Norwegian films, Erik Poppe’s A Thousand Times Good Night and Arild Fröhlich’s Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder.
Movies to Die for
Starring French actress Juliette Binoche, and nominated for seven Amandas (Norway’s national film prize), A Thousand Times Good Night has just been on show at the 20th LA Film Fest, which ends today (19 June) – it has been selected for Munich’s Spotlight section of “Movies to Die for.”
So far taking 365.000 admissions to become this year’s most popular children’s film in Norway, Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder will open the festival’s Kinderfilmfest. – Germany’s second largest showcase (after Berlin) has 65,000 audiences annually, adding 2,000 film professionals.
